Sabbath School Programme

The theme for the Sabbath School said "Let us fight". It was Mrs. Khanyile (aka Maphiwe), Mrs. Nciya (aka Nana) and Khanyisa Putu who unpacked this for us. Different types of war or battle exist in whatever context. We can talk about the battlefield or boxing ring, one thing is common "fight". Fighting is associated with struggle. In the spiritual context most of us have forgotten to let Jesus Christ to do the fighting for us. A depiction of a person who could not swim drowning in the sea was made. Up until the person realizes that he cannot save himself and gets tired from trying, only then will the life savers be able to help the person.

Somethings are worth fighting for. It is only when you get of Cancele then you realize that you were happy. To realize that such a place is being put to an end, what would your insticts tell you? Such is a place worth fighting for. As we continue in this warfare the best of us cannot help it but wonder if we will succeed or not. It was reiterated that our trust should be in GOD and we should not worry about tommorow.

GOD has already been there and prepared the victory for us. It is likened to a soccer match that has already played and we know the score already but we just have to play the game. Our lack of faith make us get scarred when the other team seems to be approaching our goal post that we forget that we have already won the the game and it is nill to the other team.

So let us fight and in this fight we must remember that we cannot fight so that Jesus may fight on our behalf. We should also remember that the fight has already been won and opponent has not scored any point. Somethings are worth fighting for. Cancele is one such place.
