The most notable deliverable for the Cancele Senior Secondary School is in the academic excellence. Producing students who achieve is our pride. Over the past century we have been at the forefront and still continue to gear up for the most notable achievements of all time. In terms of percentages, Cancele S.S.S. has been achieving more than 80% of pass rates in the grade 12. We refer to this part of our website as the academic zone because this is where we will keep you updated with our academic endeavours.

Our school caters for Primary up to Grade 12 for both day scholar and boarding.

The origins of Cancele Senior Secondary School place it as a farm which then converted into a missionary school in the 1920's. From the very begining Cancele was always about sustaining and uplifting people's lives and economic sitiuations. The population of the Eastern Cape where Cancele is situated have been blessed with proliferation of academic endeavours. Many children have grown and supported by the presence of Cancele Senior Secondary School are now part of corporate South Africa. 

The quest continues, circumstances tried to close the school down, but the products of Cancele would not watch to see her closed down. Part of Cancele's survival is thanks to the students who have graduated. It is this level of education that puts out academic offering unparalelled to any in the world. Seeing students coming back saying we cannot allow the school to be closed, it's a an emotional experience. In fact over the years, students who have grown up have even brought their children to study at Cancele Senior Secondary School. 

We offer a rich academic curriculum. As our slogan says "Nothing but the Best", that is what we offer in our academic environment. Also in line with our strategy of catering for the three H's (Head, Hand & Heart), our student receive a development plan that builds on all components we offer. It is a balanced system.
